Michael Petrie has served as a Director of the company and Chairman and CEO since 2002. He also has served as the President of PR Mortgage & Investments since co-founding the company in 1990.

Randall D. Rogers, CMB
Vice Chairman
Randall (Randy) Rogers has served as a director of the Company and the Vice Chairman of the Bank since 2002. He also has served as the Chairman of PR Mortgage & Investments since co-founding the company in 1990.

Mr. Rogers co-founded PR Mortgage & Investments in 1990 after serving 21 years with Merchants National Corporation as Executive Vice President of the Real Estate Lending Group. The group was responsible for the origination and management of development, construction and permanent real estate loans both for portfolio and as an intermediary mortgage banking subsidiary.

A 1968 graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Mr. Rogers also graduated in 1979 from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Rutgers University. In 1985 Mr. Rogers earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.

Mr. Rogers has served on several professional and civic organization boards including, the Fannie Mae Regional Advisory Board, Westside Community Development Corporation, both the Indianapolis and Indiana Mortgage Bankers Associations, The Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County, the Eskenazi Health Foundation, the Indianapolis Zoological Society, Indianapolis YWCA, the 1987 Pan American Games, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee and SKL Society. He also served as the President of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association, Chairman of the Marion County Health and Hospital Corporation, and Chairman of the Eskenazi Health Foundation.

Thomas W. Dinwiddie

Mr. Dinwiddie has served as a director of Merchants Bank of Indiana since 2002. He is a partner with the law firm of Wooden & McLaughlin in Indianapolis, Indiana. His practice covers a broad range of commercial subjects, including real estate, real estate finance and real estate development. His clients include single family and multi-family mortgage lenders and commercial real estate owners and developers. Mr. Dinwiddie has been involved extensively with the impact of the Dodd-Frank Act on commercial banking and mortgage banking. He has represented the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association for over thirty years and was the first recipient of the Distinguished Service Award presented by the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association.

Michael (Mike) Dunlap joined Merchants Bank as Senior Vice President of Mortgage Banking in 2009. Mike became a member of the Board of Directors in 2014. He was primarily responsible for establishing the warehouse lending platform and Merchants Mortgage. He has over 25 years of mortgage banking experience. Prior to joining the Bank, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of National City Mortgage, now a part of PNC. Mike held similar finance positions at Bank One, now JPMorgan Chase and Waterfield Mortgage. He started his career as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Scott A. Evans
Director
Scott Evans joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in 2004 as President and Chief Operating Officer and currently serves as President and Co-Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the bank, he spent the majority of his career working for small to mid-sized community banks serving in various senior management capacities. Scott is also involved in several agricultural related and local community organizations and operates a grain and livestock farm in southern Darke County, OH.

Sue Anne Gilroy

Sue Anne Gilroy has been a Director of the Company since June, 2017 and also serves as a director of the Bank. She has served as St.Vincent Hospital’s Vice President of Development and Executive Director of the St.Vincent Foundation since 2005. Under her leadership, the St.Vincent Foundation has raised over $50M to support hospital projects and programs.

Sue Anne’s distinguished background includes her service as Indiana’s first female Secretary of State from 1994 to 2003. During her tenure with Indiana government, she brought corporate, securities and election reform to the State. Her career in government service began in 1970 with Mayor Richard G. Lugar. She became the first female UniGov Director, as Director of Indianapolis Parks and Recreation from 1974-76. She returned to public service as Senator Richard G. Lugar’s Indiana State Director from 1990- 1993. She served as Mayor-elect Stephen Goldsmith Transition Chair in 1992.Most recently, she served on Governor Mitch Daniels’ Blue Ribbon Commission on Local Government Reform, which issued in December, 2007, its 26 recommendations to reform and restructure local government.

Sue Anne serves on the Boards of the University of Indianapolis, Oasis and University High School. She serves on the Advisory Boards of the Richard G. Lugar Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders at University of Indianapolis and True Brothers Initiative of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. She is an elder and trustee of the Endowment Fund Board of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. She was the 2010 chair of the Go! Red! American Heart Association luncheon.

Her awards include: Sagamore of the Wabash, Girls Inc. Touchstone Honoree, IBJ Woman of Influence and SPEA Distinguished Alumnus, Guardian of Small Business, and Speaking of Woman’s Health Honoree.

Sue Anne graduated Cum Laude from DePauw University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Secondary Education and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Indiana University at Indianapolis.

Patrick D. O’Brien
Director
Mr. O’Brien has been a Director of the Company since November, 2013 and also serves as a director of the Bank. Mr. O’Brien is the current President of O’Brien Toyota Scion, a Toyota dealership serving Indianapolis, and has served as its president since 1990. He also is president of O’Brien Properties and co-owner and managing member of Pinheads, a family entertainment center in Fishers, Indiana. Mr. O’Brien previously served as chairman of Toyota’s Regional Dealer Council, which serves a four state area including Indiana. He also served as past chairman of the Chicago Region Toyota Dealer Advertising Association and past President of the Indiana Auto Dealers Association of Indiana.

Andrew Juster was elected to the Board in 2019. From 1989 through 2018, Mr. Juster was employed by Simon Property Group, Inc., a global leader in the ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, an S&P 100 company, and one of the largest publicly-traded real estate investment trusts in the United States. From 2015 to October 1, 2018, Mr. Juster served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Simon Property Group, Inc., and previously served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Juster is a graduate of American University and received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Juster brings extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market and significant experience in finance, including overseeing financing strategies and capital market activities, and an understanding of the necessary accounting systems and controls of a publicly traded company.

Anne Sellers
Director
Anne Sellers has been a Director of the Company since June, 2017 and also serves as a director of the Bank. She is Managing Principal and majority owner of Sensory Technologies LLC, an Indianapolis-based technology company with 130 employees. She grew up the oldest of seven children, the daughter of a lawyer and a homemaker in Lebanon, Indiana and graduated from DePauw University in 1983 with a BA in economics. While her professional experience includes accounting positions with several firms including Ernst and Young’s tax staff, her interest has been in the entrepreneurial arena as she has created and managed several companies, served on several industry boards, and given time to charitable organizations focusing on patterns of success and failure with each organization.

David N. Shane
Director
Mr. Shane has been a Director of the Company since November, 2013 and also serves as a director of the Bank. Mr. Shane is a retired member of the Board of Managers of LDI Ltd., LLC and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2007-2012 and as its Vice-President and Executive Vice-President from 1997-2006. Mr. Shane also was a partner at Baker & Daniels (an Indianapolis-based law firm) from 1981-1995. Mr. Shane is actively involved in the community, including the following organizations: Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation (Board of Directors); Wabash College (Board of Trustees, Executive Committee Chair); The Mind Trust (Board of Directors); Ascend Indiana, Inc. (Board of Advisors); Central Indiana Works Council (Board, Chair 2014-16); Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce (Education and Workforce Council); Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (emeritus member of the Board of Directors); and Economic Club of Indiana (emeritus member of the Board of Governors).

Susan Dehner Kucer
President, Indianapolis Market
Susan Dehner Kucer joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in 2016 and serves as President of the Indianapolis Market. Prior to joining Merchants, Susan spent the past 33 years at PNC Bank (formerly Merchants National and National City) in various leadership positions, most recently as their Senior Vice President and Business Banking Market Manager for Indiana, Illinois and Missouri. Prior to her banking experience, Susan was a Certified Financial Planner and Registered Representative of Investors Diversified Services. A graduate of Butler University, she currently serves on Butler’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Board of Visitors, is a Trustee for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School, and has served as Past President and Government Liaison for the Indianapolis Mortgage Bankers Association. Susan was also an Associate Professor for Ivy Tech Community College, and served as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, United Way and Easter Seals.

Jerry F. Koors
President, Merchants Mortgage

Jerry Koors is the President of the newly formed Merchants Mortgage, and joined Merchants in October 2013. Jerry is responsible for originations, processing, underwriting, closing and delivery of investment quality loans to be held by Merchants, or sold on the Secondary Market. He has over 24 years of mortgage banking experience. Prior to joining Merchants, he was the Regional Manager and Vice President for National City Mortgage, and then PNC Mortgage for more than 17 years. Prior to joining National City, he was an Area Manager for Precedent Mortgage and a Manager at Norwest Financial. Jerry is a graduate of Marian University.

John Macke
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
John Macke joined Merchants in July 2017 after more than 25 years in the mortgage finance industry. Mr. Macke has served in the roles of EVP of Capital Markets and Chief Financial Officer at Stonegate Mortgage. Mr. Macke also spent many years with Irwin Mortgage, a national residential mortgage lending company, responsible for capital markets, strategy, business development, and finance department management. He has extensive experience with financial forecasting, planning and analysis, as well as servicing valuation and MSR hedging. Mr. Macke was also the Chief Operating Officer of Freedom Mortgage after its acquisition of Irwin Mortgage. He holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a BS degree in finance from the University of Dayton.

Richard L. Belser
Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
Richard (Rick) Belser joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in July 2007 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Having graduated with a finance degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and an MBA degree from Butler University, his banking career expands over 40 years holding executive management positions in Retail Banking, Business Banking, Corporate Banking, and Loan Administration.

Kevin T. Langford
Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer
Kevin Langford joined Merchants Bank in January of 2017 as the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Kevin provides oversight and leadership for Technology, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, and Compliance. Prior to joining Merchants Bank, Kevin was the President of Community Banking for First Financial Bank. Throughout his 25 year professional career, Kevin has held various technology, operational, and sales leadership roles at both First Financial Bank and Irwin Financial Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Franklin College.

Terry Oznick

Terry Oznick joined Merchants Bank of Indiana as Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2018. Terry has extensive experience representing financial institutions, including advising on mergers and acquisitions, SEC filings and compliance, operational issues, cash management products, and electronic banking. Prior to joining Merchants, Terry served as Senior Associate at the law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP, Senior Counsel and Vice President at Citibank, N.A., and more than 5 years as Assistant General Counsel and Vice President at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Terry is a graduate of The Ohio State University and received his law degree from New England School of Law.

“Chuck” Bostian began his banking career in 1992 as a Management Trainee with Indiana National Bank. He spent seven years in retail banking managing various branches around Indianapolis. In 1999, Chuck transitioned to a position in Corporate Banking with Union Planters Bank managing the Central Indiana Cash Management Group. He is currently responsible for the development and oversight of the bank and treasury management operations.

Rebecca Marsh, CFMP

Rebecca Marsh joined the bank in 2008 as the Information Technology Officer and is now the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Rebecca also serves the corporation as the Chief Information Security Officer. She is responsible for company marketing initiatives and media, and Director and customer communications. Rebecca also serves as a shareholder relations representative for Merchants Bancorp. Prior to joining Merchants, she worked for Merchants National/National City from 1990 to 2001. Rebecca graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/Multimedia and Visual Communications. Rebecca also holds a Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation from the American Bankers Association.

Angela Rees
Vice President, Internal Audit
Angela Rees joined the bank in 2010 as Controller/Accounting Manager and is now the Vice President of Internal Audit. She graduated with distinction from Indiana University East and passed her initial sitting of the CPA exam. Angela has an extensive professional banking and audit history to include more than 10 years of banking experience and more than 10 years as an auditor in public accounting.

Vickie Vandivier joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in May 2003. As Vice President and Investment Officer, Vickie is responsible for bank funding, liquidity management and the investment portfolio. Prior to joining Merchants Bank of Indiana, she spent 10 years at Merchants National Bank of Indianapolis as Vice President of the Money Market division and 7 years as Vice President of taxable trading with NatCity Investments.

Carol Gassen joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in 2015 as Chief Compliance Officer. Carol is responsible for ensuring the bank maintains compliance with applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations and also oversees the bank’s Bank Secrecy Act and Community Reinvestment Act programs. Carol has over 20 years of experience in compliance having worked for several Midwest regional and community banks. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BBA in Finance. Carol is actively involved in the community serving on the boards of Greater Indianapolis CRA Council and The Independence Academy; and serves on the Mortgage Advisory Council for Habitat for Humanity.

Nic Baumann joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in 2016 as Vice President of Human Resources. He is responsible for the strategic development and administration of all human resources functions. Nic has more than a decade of experience in human resources having worked in most HR practice areas during that time. His SPHR and SHRM-SCP senior certifications reflect his extensive experience in the HR profession. His history of successfully building and growing organizations perfectly suits Merchants Bank. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s in statistics and a minor in sociology. Nic stays actively involved in the HR professional community through organizations such as the national SHRM chapter and IndySHRM.

Bruce Wiley

Bruce Wiley joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in June 2017 as the Vice President of Information Technology. His responsibilities include providing leadership and direction to the IT team for all banking and mortgage businesses. Prior to joining Merchants, Bruce held several technical and leadership roles in IT at Roche Diagnostics. Bruce holds a BS degree from Taylor University in Business Systems and an MBA degree from Butler University. He is a member of PMI and holds his PMP® certification.

Philip Daubenmire graduated from Taylor University in 2005 with a degree in International Business and from Indiana University in 2014 with a Masters of Business Administration. He joined the bank in July 2005 as a Personal Banker and has held positions in Loan Operations, Portfolio Management, and Loan Underwriting. Phil currently oversees the Investment Real Estate department. Phil is a member of the Venture Club of Indiana, serves on the Executive Committee of the Indiana Youth Lacrosse Association, as well as the regional advisory board for Hope International, Inc.

Mike Dum joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in February 2015 as the Manager of Correspondent Lending. Randall (Randy) Rogers has served as a director of the Company and the Vice Chairman of the Bank since 2002. He also has served as the Chairman of PR Mortgage & Investments since co-founding the company in 1990.

Mr. Rogers co-founded PR Mortgage & Investments in 1990 after serving 21 years with Merchants National Corporation as Executive Vice President of the Real Estate Lending Group. The group was responsible for the origination and management of development, construction and permanent real estate loans both for portfolio and as an intermediary mortgage banking subsidiary.

A 1968 graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Mr. Rogers also graduated in 1979 from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Rutgers University. In 1985 Mr. Rogers earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.

Mr. Rogers has served on several professional and civic organization boards including, the Fannie Mae Regional Advisory Board, Westside Community Development Corporation, both the Indianapolis and Indiana Mortgage Bankers Associations, The Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County, the Eskenazi Health Foundation, the Indianapolis Zoological Society, Indianapolis YWCA, the 1987 Pan American Games, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee and SKL Society. His practice covers a broad range of commercial subjects, including real estate, real estate finance and real estate development. His clients include single family and multi-family mortgage lenders and commercial real estate owners and developers. Mr. Dinwiddie has been involved extensively with the impact of the Dodd-Frank Act on commercial banking and mortgage banking. Sue Anne Gilroy has been a Director of the Company since June, 2017 and also serves as a director of the Bank. She has served as St.Vincent Hospital’s Vice President of Development and Executive Director of the St.Vincent Foundation since 2005. Under her leadership, the St.Vincent Foundation has raised over $50M to support hospital projects and programs.

Sue Anne’s distinguished background includes her service as Indiana’s first female Secretary of State from 1994 to 2003. During her tenure with Indiana government, she brought corporate, securities and election reform to the State. Her career in government service began in 1970 with Mayor Richard G. Lugar. She became the first female UniGov Director, as Director of Indianapolis Parks and Recreation from 1974-76. She returned to public service as Senator Richard G. Lugar’s Indiana State Director from 1990- 1993. She served as Mayor-elect Stephen Goldsmith Transition Chair in 1992.Most recently, she served on Governor Mitch Daniels’ Blue Ribbon Commission on Local Government Reform, which issued in December, 2007, its 26 recommendations to reform and restructure local government.

Sue Anne serves on the Boards of the University of Indianapolis, Oasis and University High School. She serves on the Advisory Boards of the Richard G. Lugar Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders at University of Indianapolis and True Brothers Initiative of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Mr. O’Brien has been a Director of the Company since November, 2013 and also serves as a director of the Bank. Mr. O’Brien is the current President of O’Brien Toyota Scion, a Toyota dealership serving Indianapolis, and has served as its president since 1990. He also is president of O’Brien Properties and co-owner and managing member of Pinheads, a family entertainment center in Fishers, Indiana. Mr. O’Brien previously served as chairman of Toyota’s Regional Dealer Council, which serves a four state area including Indiana. He also served as past chairman of the Chicago Region Toyota Dealer Advertising Association and past President of the Indiana Auto Dealers Association of Indiana.

From 2015 to October 1, 2018, Mr. Juster served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Simon Property Group, Inc., and previously served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Juster is a graduate of American University and received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Juster brings extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market and significant experience in finance, including overseeing financing strategies and capital market activities, and an understanding of the necessary accounting systems and controls of a publicly traded company.

Anne Sellers has been a Director of the Company since June, 2017 and also serves as a director of the Bank. She is Managing Principal and majority owner of Sensory Technologies LLC, an Indianapolis-based technology company with 130 employees. She grew up the oldest of seven children, the daughter of a lawyer and a homemaker in Lebanon, Indiana and graduated from DePauw University in 1983 with a BA in economics. While her professional experience includes accounting positions with several firms including Ernst and Young’s tax staff, her interest has been in the entrepreneurial arena as she has created and managed several companies, served on several industry boards, and given time to charitable organizations focusing on patterns of success and failure with each organization.

Mr. Shane has been a Director of the Company since November, 2013 and also serves as a director of the Bank. Mr. Shane is a retired member of the Board of Managers of LDI Ltd., LLC and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2007-2012 and as its Vice-President and Executive Vice-President from 1997-2006. Mr. Shane also was a partner at Baker & Daniels (an Indianapolis-based law firm) from 1981-1995. Susan Dehner Kucer joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in 2016 and serves as President of the Indianapolis Market. Prior to joining Merchants, Susan spent the past 33 years at PNC Bank (formerly Merchants National and National City) in various leadership positions, most recently as their Senior Vice President and Business Banking Market Manager for Indiana, Illinois and Missouri. Prior to her banking experience, Susan was a Certified Financial Planner and Registered Representative of Investors Diversified Services. John Macke

John Macke joined Merchants in July 2017 after more than 25 years in the mortgage finance industry. Mr. Macke has served in the roles of EVP of Capital Markets and Chief Financial Officer at Stonegate Mortgage. Mr. Macke also spent many years with Irwin Mortgage, a national residential mortgage lending company, responsible for capital markets, strategy, business development, and finance department management. He has extensive experience with financial forecasting, planning and analysis, as well as servicing valuation and MSR hedging. Mr. Macke was also the Chief Operating Officer of Freedom Mortgage after its acquisition of Irwin Mortgage. He holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a BS degree in finance from the University of Dayton.

Richard L. Belser

Richard (Rick) Belser joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in July 2007 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Having graduated with a finance degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and an MBA degree from Butler University, his banking career expands over 40 years holding executive management positions in Retail Banking, Business Banking, Corporate Banking, and Loan Administration.

Kevin Langford joined Merchants Bank in January of 2017 as the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Kevin provides oversight and leadership for Technology, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, and Compliance. Prior to joining Merchants Bank, Kevin was the President of Community Banking for First Financial Bank. Throughout his 25 year professional career, Kevin has held various technology, operational, and sales leadership roles at both First Financial Bank and Irwin Financial Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Franklin College.

Terry Oznick joined Merchants Bank of Indiana as Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2018. Terry has extensive experience representing financial institutions, including advising on mergers and acquisitions, SEC filings and compliance, operational issues, cash management products, and electronic banking. Prior to joining Merchants, Terry served as Senior Associate at the law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP, Senior Counsel and Vice President at Citibank, N.A., and more than 5 years as Assistant General Counsel and Vice President at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Terry is a graduate of The Ohio State University and received his law degree from New England School of Law.

Rebecca Marsh joined the bank in 2008 as the Information Technology Officer and is now the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Rebecca also serves as a shareholder relations representative for Merchants Bancorp. Prior to joining Merchants, she worked for Merchants National/National City from 1990 to 2001. Rebecca graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/Multimedia and Visual Communications. Rebecca also holds a Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation from the American Bankers Association.

Angela Rees joined the bank in 2010 as Controller/Accounting Manager and is now the Vice President of Internal Audit. Carol Gassen joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in 2015 as Chief Compliance Officer. Carol is responsible for ensuring the bank maintains compliance with applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations and also oversees the bank’s Bank Secrecy Act and Community Reinvestment Act programs. Carol has over 20 years of experience in compliance having worked for several Midwest regional and community banks. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BBA in Finance. Carol is actively involved in the community serving on the boards of Greater Indianapolis CRA Council and The Independence Academy; and serves on the Mortgage Advisory Council for Habitat for Humanity.

Bruce Wiley

Bruce Wiley joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in June 2017 as the Vice President of Information Technology. His responsibilities include providing leadership and direction to the IT team for all banking and mortgage businesses. Prior to joining Merchants, Bruce held several technical and leadership roles in IT at Roche Diagnostics. Bruce holds a BS degree from Taylor University in Business Systems and an MBA degree from Butler University. He is a member of PMI and holds his PMP® certification.

Mike Dum joined Merchants Bank of Indiana in February 2015 as the Manager of Correspondent Lending. Mike assisted in the development and implementation of the correspondent lending division at the bank, a department which he now manages. He is also responsible for all secondary marketing activities for the correspondent and retail mortgage channels.
